Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech, overnight in Marrakech
Day 2: Transfer to Imi Oughlad, meet the team, 4-hour trek to Id Aissa, overnight in a Berber house
Day 3: Trek from Id Aissa to Amazzer (Azzaden Valley), overnight in Aazib (refuge)
Day 4: Trek from Amazzer to Tizi n'Oughelzim (3,500m), overnight in Shelter Alpin
Day 5: Early ascent to the summit of Toubkal (4,167m) and return to Shelter Alpin
Day 6: Descend from Tizi n'Oughelzim to Imlil, transfer to Marrakech, overnight in Marrakech
Day 7: Day excursion to Essaouira and return to Marrakech

Arrival in Marrakech
Time: Day 1
Arrive in Marrakech: Upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation in Marrakech. Accommodation : Overnight in Marrakech. Activity: If you arrive early, you can explore the vibrant city of Marrakech, including sites like Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Bahia Palace or Majorelle Gardens.
Marrakech - Transfer to Imi Oughlad
Time: Day 2
Transfer: Morning transfer from Marrakech to Imi Oughlad (about 1.5 to 2 hours drive). Meet the Team: Upon arrival, meet your guide and muleteers who will be assisting you with carrying your gear. Trek: Begin your trek with a 2-hour hike through the stunning landscapes. Stop for a picnic lunch during the hike. Continue Trek: After lunch, trek for another 2 hours to reach Id Aissa, a village in the Azzaden Valley. Accommodation: Overnight in a Berber house in Id Aissa. Activity: Enjoy the local Berber hospitality and relax in this peaceful village setting.
Id Aissa to Amazzer (Azzaden Valley)
Time: Day 3
Distance : Approx. 10 km Trekking time : 5-6 hours Route: After breakfast, continue trekking through the beautiful Azzaden Valley, passing traditional Berber villages, olive groves, and lush fields. The trek is scenic and offers great views of the surrounding mountains. Destination: Reach Amazzer, a small village. Accommodation: Overnight at Aazib (mountain hut or refuge). Activity: Rest and enjoy the breathtaking views, as this area is known for its tranquility and natural beauty.
Amazzer to Tizi n'Oughelzim (3,500m) - Overnight in Shelter Alpin
Time: Day 4
Distance : Approx. 10 km Trekking time : 6-7 hours Route: Begin your trek early, as you head towards Tizi n’Oughelzim pass (3,500m). This challenging part of the trek will take you across rocky terrain and offers panoramic views of the High Atlas. Accommodation: Overnight at the Shelter Alpin (Alpine hut) at the pass. Activity: Rest after a long day of trekking and enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding peaks, including the towering Toubkal.
Summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m) - Return to Shelter Alpin
Time: Day 5
Distance: Approx. 10 km (round trip) Trekking time: 8-10 hours (round trip) Route: Start early in the morning for the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m). This challenging climb is the highest point in North Africa and offers breathtaking views from the top. After spending some time at the summit to enjoy the panoramic views, you will descend back to the Shelter Alpin for the night. Accommodation: Overnight again at Shelter Alpin. Activity: After descending, relax and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains.
Shelter Alpin to Imlil - Transfer to Marrakech
Time: Day 6
Distance : Approx. 12-14 km Trekking time : 5-6 hours Route: Begin your descent to Imlil via a scenic route. You’ll pass through charming Berber villages, valleys, and green fields before reaching Imlil. Transfer: Once in Imlil, take a transfer back to Marrakech (about 1.5 to 2 hours by car). Accommodation : Overnight in Marrakech. Activity: Spend the evening relaxing after your trek. If you like, explore the souks or enjoy dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant.
Excursion to Essaouira
Time: Day 7
Excursion: Take a day trip to Essaouira, a coastal town known for its UNESCO-listed medina, fishing port, and beaches. Enjoy walking through the historic streets, visiting the Skala de la Ville, and perhaps having a seafood lunch. Return to Marrakech: In the late afternoon, return to Marrakech for your final evening. Accommodation: Overnight in Marrakech.
