Depart Marrakech in the morning in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Drive across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters) and enjoy stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the ancient fortified village of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular film location. Continue to Ouarzazate, the famous gateway to the desert, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” for its role in numerous international films such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Game of Thrones. Journey through the scenic Draa Valley, known for its lush palm groves and Berber villages.
Arrive in Zagora Desert by late afternoon.
Enjoy a camel ride at sunset through the dunes. Reach your Berber desert camp, where a traditional Moroccan dinner awaits. Relax by the campfire with local music before spending the night in a comfortable tent beneath the stars.
Zagora – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up early for a stunning sunrise over the dunes (optional). Breakfast at the camp. Camel ride or 4Ă—4 transfer back to the main road. Begin the return journey to Marrakech, passing through Agdz and the Draa Valley. Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate or along the route with an optional visit to the Atlas Film Studios or Kasbah Taourirt (if the time permits). Arrive back in Marrakech in the early evening.
